It has over 1,200 retail outlets throughout the UK, trading under the Greggs and Bakers Oven brands. Greggs is pleased to announce that it has today appointed Julie Baddeley as an additional non-executive director, with immediate effect. Julie Baddeley (53) is a non-executive director of the Yorkshire Building Society, Computerland UK and the Pension Client Group within the Government's Department of Work and Pensions. She is also an Associate Fellow at Oxford University specialising in organisational development and leadership. Julie is a Companion of the Institute of Management and has served as a member of the Audit Commission. Previously, Julie held senior executive roles in the Woolwich plc, Accenture and Sema Consulting. Her most recent executive role was at the Woolwich where she was a Main Board Executive Director responsible for Information Technology and Human Resources. As well as her duties as a non-executive director, Julie will become a member of the Board's Remuneration and Audit Committees.
