Greencore Group plc ('Greencore') received a notification today from
International Investment & Underwriting Limited that Mr. Dermot F. Desmond has
a total notifiable interest in 29,087,881 ordinary shares in the issued share
capital of Greencore which represents 15.54% of the issued capital. The shares
are registered in the name of IIU Nominees Limited.
