The Board of Greencore Group plc ('Greencore', the 'Company' or the 'Group') today announces the appointment of Harshitkumar (Hetal) Shah as Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 April 2023.

Hetal brings extensive food industry and financial experience having held numerous senior international finance roles over a 17-year career with Cadbury plc. This experience includes Finance Director roles in the UK, US, Asia and Africa.  As well as a background in finance, Hetal has significant experience in corporate strategy and M&A and has worked in both public listed and private equity backed organisations. Hetal is currently Chief Financial Officer, Europe at Belron International. 

Hetal will also become a member of the Audit and Risk Committee upon appointment.

This announcement is made pursuant to LR 9.6.11 and LR 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules. Greencore confirms there is no further information to be disclosed under the requirements of LR 9.6.11 or 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules in relation to Hetal's appointment.
