DIRECTOR/ PDMR SHAREHOLDING 

Greencore Group plc ('Greencore') announces today that it has been notified by Mr. Geoff Doherty, Director, that he has pledged 37,000 shares of €0.63 each in Greencore to a financial institution as security against a personal loan taken out to acquire those shares on 26th September, 2007.  

Other than as disclosed above Greencore has not been notified of any other arrangements whereby a Director/ PDMR or connected party has granted security over shares in Greencore.
