Great Portland Estates plc announces that on 7 June 2005, 11,660 shares held in
the Company's Deferred Bonus Plan vested, in accordance with the terms of the
Plan, and were transferred to John Whiteley, a director of the Company.  As a
result, the beneficial holding of Mr Whiteley and his family now comprises
45,547 shares (0.028% of the issued share capital).
