Great Portland Estates plc announces that on 7 June 2004, 7,615 shares held in 
the Company's Deferred Bonus Plan vested, in accordance with the terms of the 
Plan, and were transferred to John Whiteley, a director of the Company. As a 
result, the beneficial holding of Mr Whiteley and his family now comprises
42,359 shares (0.21% of the issued share capital). Following today's 
announcement, 11,184 shares held in the Plan have not yet vested.
