Admission of ordinary shares to the Social Impact segment of the

ISDX Growth Market for members of the Social Stock Exchange

 

Further to the announcement on 21 December 2015, Good Energy, the AIM quoted renewable electricity supplier and generator and founding member of the Social Stock Exchange, is pleased to announce that, with effect from 8.00 a.m. today, its entire issued share capital, comprising 14,970,680 ordinary shares, will commence trading on the Social Impact segment of the ISDX Growth Market under the ticker GOOD.

 

The Company will remain admitted to trading on AIM following admission to the ISDX Growth Market.

Details of Directors

 

John Maltby (Non-exec Director & Chairman)

John was appointed Chairman of Good Energy in 2012. He recently stepped down as CEO of Williams & Glyn to concentrate of building a portfolio of non-executive and advisory roles. From 2007 until 2012 he held the position of Group Director, Commercial, for Lloyds Banking Group, the division specialising in banking to businesses.  Previously he was Group Chief Executive for seven years of Kensington Group PLC, a specialist mortgage business, before its acquisition by Investec. John has also held senior executive roles throughout the financial services industry, including NatWest Group PLC, Barclays Bank PLC and Abbey National PLC.  His early career was as a management consultant for Andersen Consulting and Price Waterhouse.

John is also a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees.

Juliet Davenport (Chief Executive Officer)

Juliet was appointed Chief Executive of Good Energy Group and Good Energy in 2002. She started her career in renewable energy at Energy for Sustainable Development Ltd (ESD) in 1995 and was appointed Executive Director of both ESD (now CAMCO) and ESD Ventures Ltd in 1996. Passionate about renewable energy and its potential to impact on climate change, in 2013 she was awarded the OBE for services to the sector. Juliet is highly regarded in the renewable energy industry and has held positions on many strategic and advisory boards, including OFGEM's Environmental Advisory Committee, and Regen SW. She also represents small suppliers on the Board of Energy UK and earlier this year, was appointed to the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC).

 

Denise Cockrem (Chief Financial Officer)

Denise was appointed Chief Financial Officer in May 2014. Her previous experience includes senior finance roles in FTSE 100 companies within the financial services sector. Prior to joining Good Energy, Denise was Finance Director for RSA Insurance Group's UK & Western Europe region. She has previously worked as Finance Director for Direct Line Insurance, and her career includes finance roles with Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays Bank and Ernst & Young. Denise is an FCA, who qualified with Neville Russell and has an MA from Oxford in Law. Denise is also a Trustee on the Board of Macintyre, a charity providing learning, support and care for more than 900 children and adults with learning disabilities. She was recently voted onto the CBI South West Council and is a Board member of Skipton Building Society.

 

Richard (Rick) Squires (Non-Executive Director)

Rick was appointed to the board in 2008 and was interim chairman from October 2011- October 2012. He holds a number of non-executive board directorships of companies within the renewable energy sector, including Green Investment Bank Financial Services. Until 2009 he was Non-executive Chairman of Eclipse Energy Company Ltd, a UK-based privately owned wind power company. Prior to the sale of the company to a major European utility in late 2008, Rick was involved in the raising of equity and mezzanine debt from city institutions to fund development activities. He is the founder of PiEnergy Ltd, which provides consultancy services to the international energy business across a spectrum of activities, with particular focus on renewable energy. He has held senior level commercial positions with the Royal Dutch Shell Group and also with InterGen, a US-based power producer with generation assets located on four continents. He is a Non-Executive Director of Green Energy For Education Limited, an unquoted business backed by VCT funding managed by Triple Point Investment Management LLP.

Rick is also Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Martin Edwards (Non-Executive Director)

Martin was appointed as a Director of Good Energy Group at its formation, bringing to the Group valuable knowledge of the renewable generation business. Martin was instrumental in taking Delabole wind farm - the UK's first commercial wind farm - from concept to completion in the 1990s. Delabole was acquired by Good Energy Group in 2002 and Martin continued to direct all local operations, maintenance and contract negotiations associated with it. He has also played a key role in implementing the £12 million redevelopment of the site during 2010/11.

Martin is also Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.

Francesca Ecsery (Non-Executive Director)

Francesca Ecsery was appointed Non-Executive Director in 2012. Ms Ecsery has extensive expertise in marketing, with more than 22 years of experience in senior director roles, with both blue chip and start-up companies, developing a strong track record for generating revenue growth. Francesca has worked across a broad range of consumer industries and previously held the role of Global Business Development Director at Cheapflights Media and also held senior executive roles with PepsiCo, STA Travel, the Thomas Cook Group and Thorn EMI plc. She is also a Non-Executive Director at Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust plc, at Marshall Motor Holdings plc and at Share plc.

Francesca is a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
