Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Good Energy Group plc  (AIM: GOOD), owner of Good Energy Limited, the UK's leading 100% renewable electricity supplier, is pleased to announce the appointment of Francesca Ecsery as a Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect.

Ms Ecsery has extensive expertise in marketing, with over 22 years of experience in senior director roles, with both blue chip and start-up companies, developing a strong track record for generating revenue growth. Ms Ecsery has worked across a broad range of consumer industries and previously held the role of Global Business Development Director at Cheapflights Media and also held senior executive roles with STA Travel, the Thomas Cook Group and Thorn EMI plc.      

Juliet Davenport, Chief Executive of Good Energy Group plc, said:

Ms Ecsery's appointment means that two out of Good Energy Group plc's six board members are female. In 2011, Juliet Davenport was named 'First Woman of Retail and Consumer' at First Women Awards, and won the PLUS markets CEO of the Year award in 2009, 2010 and 2012.
