SIFAM, acquired by G&H in May 2007, is the global technology leader in fused fibre technology. This order is the result of renewed growth in this highly specialised sector of the telecoms market linking countries and major cities with undersea fibre optic cables. The requirement comes on top of the increasing levels of demand seen throughout 2007, further reinforcing SIFAM's position as the market leader in high reliability fused fibre products for submarine telecommunications applications.
