                                GOOCH & HOUSEGO

An interim dividend will be paid on 18 July 2003 to all shareholders on the
register at 27 June 2003 and not 26 June 2003 as stated in today's previous
announcement. The shares are expected to go ex-dividend on 25 June 2003 and not
24 June 2003 as previously stated.
