Update on 2022 Annual Report and Financial Statements

GoldStone Resources Limited (AIM: GRL) provides the following update in relation to its audited Annual Report and Financial Statements for its financial year ended 31 December 2022 (the "2022 Annual Report and Accounts").

The Company notifies that it will not be in a position to publish the 2022 Annual Report and Accounts by 30 June 2023, as required by Rule 19 of the AIM Rules for Companies (the "AIM Rules"). The reason for the delay is the Company's existing auditor, DSG Chartered Accountants ("DSG"), is no longer in a position to provide the audit opinion for a gold mining company that is now in production and quoted on AIM. This is as a result of a strategic decision by DSG not to undertake any listed (or any other public interest entities) work going forwards and, accordingly, DSG tendered their resignation in May 2023.

The Company has now engaged a new auditor, Moore Stephens Audit & Assurance (Jersey) Limited ("Moore Stephens"), to audit the 2022 Annual Report and Accounts. Moore Stephens are currently working with DSG to finalise the audit and the 2022 Annual Report and Accounts, however, they have confirmed to the Company that they will require additional time to complete the audit process. The Company's previous auditor is working cooperatively with Moore Stephens to expedite this process and the Directors are not aware of any material issues with the underlying accounts that would prevent the completion of the audit in the coming weeks. Accordingly, the Company is targeting the publication of the 2022 Annual Report and Accounts as soon as Moore Stephens completes its audit procedures, which is expected to occur during July 2023.

Accordingly, in light of the fact that the Company's audited accounts will not be published on or before 30 June 2023, the Company's ordinary shares will be suspended from trading on AIM with effect from 7:30 a.m. on Monday 3 July 2023. The temporary suspension from trading on AIM will be lifted once the 2022 Annual Report and Accounts have been published.

Notwithstanding the temporary suspension of trading in the Company's ordinary shares on 3 July 2023, the Company will continue to make announcements as and when there are any developments that require announcement in accordance with its obligations under the AIM Rules.
