DataCash Group plc ("DataCash" or the "Company")


Further re Acquisition


The Board of DataCash has been informed by the Board of NetGiro International AB
("NetGiro International") that it has received an alternative proposal to that
which was announced by DataCash on 8 February 2007. Consequently, at the
Extraordinary General Meeting convened for today at 9.00 a.m. (10.00 a.m.
Swedish time), while the resolution to approve the change of Articles of
Association that would have empowered the Board of NetGiro International to sell
NetGiro Systems AB ("NetGiro") has proceeded and been passed, the resolution to
approve the acquisition by DataCash has been adjourned while the Board of
NetGiro International considers the alternative proposal. The Board of DataCash
continues to monitor the situation.

The Board of DataCash will provide an update in due course.
