Global Petroleum Limited announces that on Wednesday 28 June 2006, Law
Strategies Pty Ltd, a company associated with Peter Dighton, a Director of the
Company, sold its total holding of 26,667 ordinary shares of no par value in the
Company at 23.1p (A57 cents) per share. The shares represented 0.015% of the
issued capital of the Company.

Mr Dighton holds 250,000 Options over the ordinary shares of the Company which
are exercisable by 31 December 2008 at 10p (25 cents).
