Global Petroleum Limited announces that on Monday 19 June 2006 Dr John 
Armstrong, Executive Chairman, sold one million ordinary shares of no par value
in the Company at 20p per share. The shares, which Dr Armstrong held in his own
name represented 0.6% of the issued capital of the Company.

Following the sale Dr Armstrong holds 1,266,667 shares (0.7%) in the Company.
