Global Invacom's Shanghai Arm Secures Patent for Cap Press Machine

London / Singapore, 6 September 2016 - Global Invacom Group Limited ("Global Invacom" or "the Group"), a satellite communications ("Sat Comms") equipment provider listed on the Singapore Exchange and the U.K. AIM Market, today announces that its Shanghai manufacturing arm has obtained a second patent for an auto-assembly machine. This follows the announcement on 30 August 2016 that the Group had secured the patent for an innovative auto-assembly machine for F-type connector screws.

Global Invacom Manufacturing (Shanghai) Co Ltd ("GISH") has secured a utility patent for the structure and components of an automatic cap press machine that increases yield of work processes by more than 30 percent.

The machine presses two caps on to casting with different axial directions, improving efficiency by requiring only one operator as opposed to two in the past. All motions are controlled by the relay system, with pressure sensors to ensure the cap pressing runs smoothly.

Wong Siu Hong, Vice President - APAC Operation of GISH, said: "The cap pressing machine is the second of our recent auto-assembly patents. In the near term, we intend to secure more patents for new technology to streamline our manufacturing processes, so that we can continue to offer innovative Sat Comms products of the highest possible quality."
