Glanbia plc ('the Company') announces the following board changes with effect 
from 31 May 2007:

• the appointment of Mr. Nicholas Dunphy as a Non-Executive Director of the  Company; and
• the retirement of Mr. Michael Keane as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.

Mr. Dunphy is also a Director of Glanbia Co-operative Society Limited and farms
at Grawn, Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford.

Mr. Dunphy has notified the Company that he has no details to be disclosed as
required under Paragraph 6.6.13, Chapter  6 of the Irish Listing Rules and
Paragraph 9.6.13, Chapter 9 of the UK Listing Rules.

Mr. Dunphy has today (31 May 2007), on his appointment, notified the Company,
pursuant to Section 53 of the Companies Act, 1990 as extended by Section 64 of
the Companies Act 1990, that he is interested in 10,390 ordinary shares of €0.06
each in Glanbia plc.
