Glanbia plc announces that Messrs CA Byrne, TO Kelly, P O'Hanlon and GB
Scanlan are to retire by rotation as non-executive directors of the Company
at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 11 May 2000 and will not be
offering themselves for re-appointment.
