Change to Board of Directors

In line with the reduction in the size of the Board of the Company to not more
than twenty members, Glanbia plc announces, with effect from today, the
retirement from the Board of the following non-executive directors:  Messrs JA
Cashman, P Delaney, JG Fitzgerald, P Fitzgerald, S Hannon, CW Hill, EJ
Holland, EP Holland, D Horgan,  J Maher, O Manley, R Prendergast, JV Quinlan
and J Richardson. 

It is intended to appoint Messrs CL Hill, T Heffernan and M Parsons as
non-executive directors of the Company in June.
