14 June 2013 - The Company has been informed today by Glanbia Co-operative Society Limited (the "Society") that Mr. Robert Prendergast and Mr. Brendan Hayes have ceased to be directors of the Society. As Mr. Prendergast and Mr. Hayes have ceased to be directors of the Society, Article 88(g) of the Articles of Association of the Company provides that they have therefore automatically ceased to be directors of the Company.

The Society has also advised the Company that it has nominated Mr. Vincent Gorman for appointment to the Board as one of the Society's nominees to the Company's Board.  This appointment will therefore be considered at the Company's next board meeting on 27 June 2013.  Mr. Gorman is a full time farmer who farms at Ballindrum, Athy, Co. Kildare. Mr. Gorman has significant expertise of the dairy and agricultural industry.  Mr. Gorman has notified the Company that he has no details to be disclosed as required under Paragraph 6.6.7, Chapter 6 of the Irish Listing Rules and Paragraph 9.6.13, Chapter 9 of the UK Listing Rules.
