Milestone 10^th client signs up for Getech's flagship Globe programme

GETECH, the oil services business specialising in the provision of exploration data and geological exploration studies, announces sign-up of its 10^th client company for Globe.

This further commitment demonstrates Getech's increasing penetration of the global new ventures market and represents the delivery of a key strategic target within the Company. Each new commitment to Globe covers, as a minimum, the initial three-year programme which is due to finish in mid-2014. New sponsors generate both immediate income on delivery of existing components and a significant amount of forward income.

Getech's Chief Executive, Raymond Wolfson, commented, "We are extremely pleased to have these ten commitments prior to the end of 2012 and are confident that this trend of client adoption of the Getech product range will continue. Given both the numbers and quality of the core sponsors for Globe, we are also confident that Globe will become an industry-wide new ventures tool of choice.  We are also seeing, as a result of our success with Globe, an increasing interest from clients in our other products, particularly our world-leading potential fields data library and our new state of the art Earth System Models.  We are scheduled to deliver the first of the new Earth Systems components to our early adoption clients in the first part of 2013."
