GETECH Group Plc (GTC:AIM), the oil services business specialising in the
provision of exploration data and petroleum systems evaluations, announces that
Peter Stephens, the Company's Non-Executive Chairman, today purchased 25,000
ordinary shares of 0.25 pence each in the Company at a price of 24.5 pence per
share.

Further to this transaction Mr. Stephens is interested in 777,718 ordinary
shares, equivalent to 2.8 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
