GE Board authorizes regular dividend

FAIRFIELD, CONN. - February 11, 2000 - The GE Board of
Directors today authorized a regular quarterly dividend of
$.41 per share on outstanding shares of common stock.  The
dividend is payable on April 25, 2000, to shareowners of
record March 8, 2000.  The ex-dividend date is March 6,
2000.
