The Board of Directors of GCP Infra (the "Board") announces the following Board changes.

 

Following Ian Reeves CBE's notification to the Board of his intention to retire as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, as communicated in the Company's 2022 half-yearly report, Ian will retire from the Board effective 31 October 2022. As a result of Ian's retirement, a new Non-Executive Director has been sought .

 

Mr Alex Yew

The Board, after undertaking a thorough and extensive search, is pleased to announce the appointment of   Alex Yew as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from  1 November 2022 .   Alex   will  be appointed as a member of the Investment Committee bringing a wealth of experience, specialising in infrastructure and renewable energy investments. He will also become a member of the Management Engagement Committee and the Company's Environmental, Social and Governance Committee, newly formed in June 2022. This addition to the Board is being made as part of the Company's medium-term Board stability and succession plan.

 

Alex, a United Kingdom resident, is a qualified solicitor in Singapore and in England and Wales. Alex has more than 25 years of work experience as a lawyer, banker and investor. Until recently, Alex was a Senior Advisor and a Senior Managing Director at John Laing, an international investor in infrastructure and energy assets. Alex worked at John Laing for more than 14 years, during which time he held leadership positions in Project Finance, New Markets, Strategy, Partnerships, Latin America and Europe. He was also a member of the senior leadership team and the Investment Committee. Prior to John Laing, Alex was a Director in the infrastructure advisory team at CIBC World Markets in London as well as a banker and lawyer in Southeast Asia.

Alex brings a wealth of skills and experience to positively support the Company's strategy over the coming years, and the Board looks forward to working with him."

 

There are no additional matters that require additional disclosure under Listing Rules 9.6.13R in respect of Alex Yew.
