In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, Asia
Energy is required to notify the market of the following:



Asia Energy's capital includes 48,771,024 ordinary shares with voting rights.
None of these ordinary shares are held in Treasury.



Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Company is 48,771,024.



The above figure of 48,771,024 shares may be used by shareholders as the
denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Asia
Energy under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
