               Shareholders approve conditional placing of shares


Asia PLC is pleased to announce that at an EGM held today, shareholders approved
the resolutions granting the Company authority to issue up to 4,530,830 shares
on a non pre-emptive basis thereby enabling the 2,596,024 new Ordinary Shares
which had been conditionally placed on 29 November 2005 to be issued. 
Consequently, it is expected that admission to trading on AIM and settlement for
these shares will be on 23 December 2005.
