                       Notification of significant holding


Under sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985 and rule 15 of the AIM Rules
the following information falls to be  disclosed:

The Company was notified on 3 October 2005 that pursuant to the sale of
4,300,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the  Company ('Ordinary Shares'),
Cambrian Mining Plc 100% owned subsidiary, Deepgreen Minerals Corporation Ltd,
has an  interest in 4,515,000 Ordinary Shares. This represents approximately
10.98% of the issued share capital of the Company.
