                               DIRECTOR'S DEALING





Global Coal Management PLC ('the Company') wishes to advise that Mr David
Lenigas, a non-executive Director of the Company, has now increased his holding
through the purchase of 10,000 ordinary shares, at a price of 104p per share on
17 October 2007.



Mr Lenigas now holds 170,000 ordinary shares in the Company, which represents
0.35% of the issued share capital of the Company. He also continues to hold
180,000 options in the Company at an exercise price of 75p.
