Notification of Directors' Interests in the Share Capital of TelMe Group plc

TelMe Group plc (the 'Company') hereby gives notice that two of its directors 
purchased shares in the Company on 28 December 2001:


   -  John Walker-Haworth, the Group's non-executive Chairman, purchased        
      1,000,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 7.0 pence per share. His holding  
      represents 1.26% of the issued capital of the Company. Prior to this      
      announcement, Mr Walker-Haworth held no shares in the Company; and


   -  Richard Law, acting Chief Executive, purchased 66,070 Ordinary Shares at a
      price of 7.5 pence per share. His total beneficial holding of 107,604     
      Ordinary Shares represents 0.14% of the issued share capital of the       
      Company. Prior to this announcement, Mr Law held 41,534 Ordinary Shares,  
      which represented 0.05% of the issued share capital of the Company.
