                        TELME GROUP PLC ("The Company")

                     Change of Company Name to GB Group plc

The Company announces today that it has changed its name to GB Group plc. The
change of name was effected following the disposal of the Group's Travel
Interests to Friezenberg Beheer B.V. on 31 December 2001 where the TelMe name
and brand was sold as part of the disposal.  Permission to change the Company
name was granted by shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting of the
Company held on 11 January 2002.

Shareholders are asked to note that share certificates bearing the Company's
previous name will continue to be valid and that replacement certificates will
not be required to be issued.
