                       TelMe Group plc (the 'Company')


             Appointment of Acting Chief Executive of the Company

On the basis that the disposal of the TelMe Group's Travel Interests will be
completed on 28 December 2001, the date of the Extraordinary General Meeting
of shareholders to approve this disposal, Richard Law, currently Group Finance
Director, has been appointed acting Chief Executive with effect from that
date.

Graham Ramsey, currently Chief Executive, will become a non-executive director
of the Company.
