Games Workshop Group PLC ('Games Workshop' or 'the Company')
The Board of Games Workshop is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom
Kirby, currently non-executive Chairman, as Chairman and Chief Executive.
Chris Prentice, Chief Executive, has resigned from the Board.
The Board whole-heartedly thanks Chris Prentice for his contribution since he
joined the Company.
Tom Kirby said:
'I am confident that under my leadership Games Workshop will be revitalised. I
intend to build on our position as one of the world's leading hobby companies.
As well as re-emphasising the core culture, the Company will fully exploit the
potential of the intellectual property within our brands'

Tom Kirby led the MBO of Games Workshop in 1991, and ran the Company from then
until 1998; a period which saw rapid growth of both sales and profits and the
establishment of Games Workshop as a well known and well respected brand.
