The Company received notification on 4 February 2002 that, following the sale of
222,117 ordinary 5p shares, Henderson Global Investors Limited and its fellow
subsidiaries, acting as agent for its discretionary clients, hold (either
directly or indirectly) 2,339,693 ordinary 5p shares which represents 7.7% of
the Company's issued share capital. Within this holding, Henderson Smaller
Companies Investment Trust Plc hold 1,100,000 ordinary 5p shares, representing
3.6% of the Company's issued share capital.
