On 1 June 2001, Games Workshop Employee Share Trust (on the direction of Games
Workshop Trustee Limited) acquired 167,500 Ordinary Shares at 5p each at 335p
per share.  Messrs C J Myatt, S G Forrest and M Sherwin, directors of the
Company, are directors of Games Workshop Trustee Limited.



As a result of this purchase, Games Workshop Trustee Limited is interested in
200,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.64 per cent. of the Company's issued
share capital.
