The Company received notification on 31 August 2000 from AMVESCAP PLC
('AMVESCAP') that, as a result of the purchase of 125,000 ordinary shares on
30 August 2000, AMVESCAP and subsidiary companies on behalf of discretionary
clients are interested in a total of 4,393,546 ordinary shares representing
14.03 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
