Games Workshop Group plc (the 'Company')



Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority ('UKLA') and the London
Stock Exchange for the block listing of 96,944 ordinary shares of 5p each fully
paid ('Ordinary Shares'), to trade on the London Stock Exchange and be admitted
to the Official List of the UKLA.  It is expected that admission of these
Ordinary Shares will become effective on 15 March 2004.  These Ordinary Shares
will rank pari passu with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of the Company.



These Ordinary Shares are to be issued as a result of future exercises of
options under the following schemes: 18,903 Ordinary Shares under the 1994
Executive Share Option Scheme, 3,041 Ordinary Shares under the 1994 Worldwide
Executive Share Option Scheme and 75,000 Ordinary Shares under the 1995
Sharesave Scheme.
