GALLIFORD TRY SECURES £38 MILLION FORBURY PLACE OFFICE CONTRACT

 

Galliford Try plc, the housebuilding and construction group, announces that its Building business has been appointed to build the Forbury Place project in Reading by client M&G Real Estate and Bell Hammer under a £38 million contract.

 

The contract will see the creation of 185,000 sq ft of Category A office space in the first of two new office complexes on the site of the former Energis House in the town. The eight storey building will target a BREEAM Excellent rating and provide an additional 450 parking spaces which will service both buildings on completion.

 

Galliford Try Chief Executive Greg Fitzgerald remarked: "This successful contract win further cements our position as a leading contractor within the office sector in the South East and we look forward to working with our partners at M&G Real Estate and Bell Hammer to provide a landmark new building for business in Reading."
