                        GALLIFORD TRY HOST INSTITUTIONAL
                       VISIT TO KINGSDALE SCHOOL, DULWICH

Galliford Try plc, the construction and housebuilding group, is today hosting a
visit from institutional investors to Kingsdale School, Dulwich.

The purpose of the visit is to provide an opportunity for investors to see at
first hand the work that the company has undertaken for the school as part of
the Government's 'Schools for the Future' initiative.

No new material information relating to current trading will be made available
during the visit.
