Resignation of Group Finance Director

 

Galliford Try Holdings plc (Galliford Try or the Group), the UK construction group, announces that Andrew Duxbury has given notice of his resignation as Group Finance Director and as a Director of Galliford Try and intends to take up the position of Chief Financial Officer at Persimmon plc.

The Board has commenced a search to appoint a new Group Finance Director and a further update will be provided in due course. During this process Andrew will remain focused on the delivery of the Group's performance and sustainable growth strategy as well as ensuring a smooth and effective transition of his roles and responsibilities.

Bill Hocking, Chief Executive, said:  "On behalf of the board I would like to thank Andrew for the contribution he has made since the successful divestment of the housebuilding business in 2020 and in supporting the Group's year on year sustainable growth.  The Board wishes Andrew the very best in his new role."

Andrew Duxbury, Group Finance Director, said:  "I have very much enjoyed my time at Galliford Try and would like to thank all my colleagues for their support. I will leave the business in an excellent position, with a strong balance sheet, an experienced finance and management team, and well placed to deliver further sustainable growth."
