Galliford Try plc announces that Chris King, Business Development Director of
its construction division and former Managing Director of Galliford (UK)
Limited, has resigned as a director to pursue other interests with effect from
31 May 2003.



Tony Palmer, Chairman, said



'Chris King has made a valuable contribution to the company over 18 years
service.  In particular he played a key role as Managing Director of Galliford
(UK) and in the establishment of the Group's reputation for partnership
contracting and in leading the construction performance improvement initiatives
in the company.  On behalf of the Board I would like to thank him for his
contribution and wish him well for the future.'
