Block Listing

The Company has made an application to the UK Listing Authority and London Stock
Exchange plc for 6,778,465 Ordinary Shares of 5p each to be admitted to the
Official List and to trading on the main market of London Stock Exchange plc.
These ordinary shares are being admitted by way of a block listing for shares to
be issued in respect of the Galliford Try plc Savings Related Share Option
Scheme. Admission is effective on Wednesday 18 September 2002.
