              NOTIFICATION OF DIRECTOR'S INTERESTS IN SHARES

Future plc (LSE : FUTR) announces that, on 1 March 2005, the Company received
notification that Greg Ingham (Chief Executive Officer) had, on 1 March 2005,
exercised 25,000 options granted to him on 18 December 2001 at an exercise price
of 38 pence per share, pursuant to the rules of the Company's Sharesave plan.

Consequently, Greg Ingham's total interest in shares in the Company increased to
4,056,980 shares, which represents 1.25% of the Company issued share capital.
