Future Network PLC 11 September 2000 ELISABETH MURDOCH JOINS THE FUTURE NETWORK BOARD Future appoints new Non-executive Director The Future Network plc (LSE: FNET), the specialist consumer magazines and websites publisher, today announces that it has appointed Elisabeth Murdoch to the Board as a Non-executive Director with immediate effect. Elisabeth Murdoch, 32, joins the Future Board after four years at British Sky Broadcasting, most recently as Managing Director of Sky Networks, where she had overall responsibility for Sky's programming business. She currently holds no other directorships. Over the past five years Elisabeth has held directorships in the following companies: British Sky Broadcasting Ltd; Granada Sky Broadcasting (DTT) Ltd; Granada Sky Broadcasting Ltd; National Geographic Channel UK; Nickelodeon UK; QVC; Sky In-home Service Ltd; Sky Ventures Ltd; History Channel UK; Sky Direct Ltd and Stream S.p.a. She was also an alternate director on the British Sky Broadcasting plc Board. Elisabeth is also a member of the UK Advisory Board of Business 2.0 magazine, Future's highly successful new economy business magazine, which launched in the UK in May.
