Business 2.0 to be Launched in the UK & Europe

Future Network PLC 15 December 1999 FUTURE TO LAUNCH BUSINESS 2.0 IN THE UK, GERMANY AND FRANCE US EDITION TO BECOME BI-MONTHLY IN MAY 2000 The Future Network plc ('Future' LSE: FNET) the video games, home computing and other specialist consumer magazines and online publisher, today announces its plans to launch its highly successful US Internet business magazine, Business 2.0, in the UK in April 2000 and in Germany and France later in the year. Future also announces that in response to reader demand, the US magazine is moving from a monthly to a bi-weekly format with effect from May 2000. Business 2.0 is an award winning, international monthly publication from Imagine Media Inc, Future's US business. It has experienced unprecedented growth since its launch in the US in August 1998. Current circulation is 210,000, an increase of more than 30% since July this year, and the December issue, which is the biggest yet at 336 pages, recorded a 300% increase in advertising pages over the previous year. Within its first year, Business 2.0 has won seven top magazine awards.
