In accordance with section 198 of the Companies Act 1985, Futura Medical plc
('the Company') was notified on 4 July 2005 by Gerrard Limited, that W.T. Lamb
Investments Limited, a client of Gerrard Limited, has increased its holding in
the Company to 3,000,000 shares.  This holding represents approximately 6.2
percent of the Company's current issued share capital.
