In accordance with section 198 of the Companies Act 1985, Futura Medical plc
('the Company') was notified on 17 February 2004 by Dresdner Kleinwort
Wasserstein Group Limited, an indirect subsidiary of Allianz AG, that as at 17
February 2004, Allianz AG and subsidiaries together with Cornhill (whose shares
are held by Allianz UK Limited and whose ultimate holding company is Allianz AG)
no longer have a notifiable interest in the Company's issued share capital. This
is as a result of an increase in the Company's issued share capital, as
announced on 17 February 2004.
