Futura Medical plc ('Futura'), the AIM-listed pharmaceutical and medical device
group that develops innovative products for the sexual healthcare market, has
received further funds pursuant to the exercise of the second of three call
options, as announced on 5 February 2004, under the subscription agreement with
Long Fleet Systems Inc signed in June 2003.

Today Futura issued 175,000 shares and Application has been made for the new
shares being issued to be admitted to trading on AIM.  The new shares will rank
pari passu with existing ordinary shares and dealings are expected to commence
at 8.00am on 12 February 2004. This issue will raise £124,425 for Futura.

A further 580,175 shares remain to be issued in accordance with the second call
option.
