Notification of Interests of Directors and Connected Persons

We have been notified today that on 14 August 2001, Regent Capital Trust
Corporation Limited, the Trustee of the Fuller, Smith & Turner Employee Share
Trust 1998 (the 'Trust') purchased 38,552 'A' ordinary shares in Fuller, Smith
& Turner P.L.C. at a price of 500p each.  The Trust is a discretionary Trust
for the benefit of such employees (including the Directors) of Fuller, Smith &
Turner P.L.C. as the Trustee may decide to benefit.
