Debt Free Direct Group plc (the 'Company')


Further to its announcement of 24 August 2007 regarding the passing of the
resolutions proposed at the Company's extraordinary general meeting, the Company
is pleased to announce that the hearing of the Company's petition for the
cancellation of its share premium account is scheduled to be heard by the Court
on 10 October 2007. It is anticipated that the capital reduction will become
effective on 12 October 2007.


Should there be any change to this anticipated timetable the Company will make a
further announcement.
