Debt Free Direct Group PLC (the 'Company')

Notification of major interests in shares

The Company received notification on 16 December 2005 from J O Hambro Capital
Management Limited that, following the disposal of 287,000 shares, it is now
interested in 1,589,279 Ordinary Shares of 1p each representing 4.28% of the
Company's issued share capital.

The total holding of 1,589,279 Ordinary Shares in which all parties are
interested includes a non-material interest for the purposes of Section 199 2A
Companies Act 1985 of 1,496,806 Ordinary Shares in which a Limited Liability
Partnership owned by J O Hambro Capital Management Group Limited is interested
as investment manager of an undertaking for collective investments in
transferable securities (UCITS).
