                      Notification of Interest of Director

                   Debt Free Direct Group plc ('the Company')


The Company has today been advised that Andrew Redmond, Chief Executive Officer,
has acquired 80,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at 67,3/4p per share by way of a
market purchase for his SIPP with James Hay Pension Trustees Limited A/C 19351.
The shares will be registered in the name of Fitel Nominees Limited A/C C047215.

Following the notification, the total holding of the SIPP is 100,000 ordinary
shares of 1p each and the total beneficial holding of Mr. Redmond is 5,115,447
ordinary shares of 1p each representing 17.7 per cent. of the issued ordinary
share capital.
